Enjoying the weekend.

This weekend the weather absolutely stinks! My DH is in Fresno for work so I'm taking advantage of the time and coloring up some digi stamps I bought a while back. This one is from Saturated Canary and it's called Latte - best $2 digi stamp!  The paper is from Paper Studio and the flowers are from La Petites.  Colored with Copics.  I hope you like it - the card is for my SIL who just had a big birthday and loves her morning coffee.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend all!

Design Team

Good evening all!  I'm excited to announce that I've been chosen to be on the Design Team for Lady Anne's Challenges.  You can find the cards for all the Design Team Members here.

The winter here in the Midwest has been long and cold, so my husband and I took a few days off to head out west.  The temperatures were a bit higher than here, but certainly not warm enough to hang out at a beach.  So, to continue on my bucket list, we visited Sequoia, Pinnacles, Kings Canyon, and Yosemite National Parks.  Pinnacles was enacted a National Park in January of this year - and now makes a total of 60 parks in the United States.  So far, I think I've visited 15 of the parks.  What is on your bucket list?

Happy weekend

Happy weekend everyone! After 12" of snow this week, I'm so glad it's Friday and I'm finding myself in my craft room.  Although I enjoy the changing seasons, I'm more than ready for Spring.  I wanted to get caught up on my birthday cards, so I found an image from Saturated Canary that I had already colored - it just needed a card put together.  She'll be 17, so this gal is right up her alley!  I hope you like it.  I colored it with Copics and the flower is from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Good afternoon all!  I hope your having a wonderful weekend.  My husband and I went to see Craig Ferguson last night (for those who don't know of him, he's a TV evening host). It was a Christmas present I bought for my hubby.  It was so nice to get out and have a date-night.

I've been asked to be on the DT for LadyAnne Challenges.  This is my first DT, so I'm super excited about it and I hope you tune in for the upcoming challenges.

Below is a card I made for Making Greeting Cards (a Yahoo Group). We have a great group of gals who inspire each other.  This month was to make a red or pink card.  I found a cute Sugar Nellie Stamp - it's called "I Give you My Heart".  The name was so cute, I used it as the sentiment.  I colored it with Copics and added flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Hello all!  I hope you are doing well and have tomorrow off for President's Day.  This is certainly one of the perks of my job is the extra holidays.  Unfortunately, my work has been taking up a lot of my free time and I haven't posted much.  I made this card below tonight for my SIL - she lives a few hours from me and has been going thru a stressful time with family health, work, kids, etc - you know, life ...  So I wanted to send her a card to let her know I was thinking of her and sending a hug.

I hope you like it. It was a stamp from Gillian Roberts that I think is super cute!  Papers and ribbon from my stash.

For Baby

One of my dearest friends is having a baby girl next month and I made this owl made from diapers, receiving blankets, baby pins, wash cloths, socks and hair pins.  I'm sure she will absolutely love it. 

New Card

The cold temperatures in the Midwest have forced me to stay in my craft room (once again).  I had this stamp from Wee Stamps colored up for a while, I finally put it on a card.  I'm not sure if I'll use it for a birthday card, so I didn't put a sentiment on it yet.
